Aug 8, 2022 · No. You can use "Tools\Face Detection" in Manage mode to Re-detect Faces, Remove Faces and Re-Run Recognition on the selected images, but to see the results of that (to view the face outline box and the assigned name) you have to change to view mode. You can't manually add face outline boxes or edit or add face names in Manage mode.

Oct 22, 2023 · When you embed the metadata in an image, or in an xmp sidecar file if the image format doesn't support direct embedding, both the face outline metadata and the face name are embedded in the images (as xmp metadata in XMP-acdsee-rs section). But simply browsing to the new folder will not show all of the metadata.

When you manually add a face (with a rectangle) then set the focus to the name field; When you delete or name an unnamed face or group then automatically select the next face/group. Same for "selected group"
