Aug 19, 2019 · I have put 19" Mustang GT wheels on my Flex with Michelin Defender 245 55 19. They have a taller sidewall than the stock 20 inch wheels and tires that came on it.

Aug 11, 2010 · Offset on 20" Flex wheels is 38 as are the SHO wheels. You can go down to around 30 if wheels are 20" or less, but if you go bigger and lower your Flex, you may want to be at 35 or higher.

Comparatively, for my snows I run after market Sport Edition F10 rims (18x8) with +50 offset (this is pretty much the max offset that would clear based on my '14 Flex ecoboost). Tires are 235/60-18 Blizzack DM V1s.

Jun 12, 2009 · I took a look at a Mustang with the Torque Thrust type 5 spoke wheels about an hour ago and the lugs seemed a lot closer together than the ones on my Flex so chances are they will not fit.

May 26, 2010 · The 18" wheels I installed on my EcoBrick (ASA AR2 V2) Mustang wheels which are 8" wide and 40 offset work just fine. TireRack indicated that there would be limited clearance (estimated at 3 mm) between wheel and brake caliper.

Search "explorer rims" on forum and get 83 hits, about 40+ discuss this. Search "mustang rims" on forum and get 67 hits, some overlap with above, some photos and discussion within the 67 hits.

Sep 2, 2016 · The wheels are really nice, they are high offset so they may strike something in the suspension. My "willtheyfit.com" math puts it a full 32mm more inboard than a stock 18" wheel.

Sep 9, 2009 · I'm a gearhead and can't leave well enough alone, so does anybody know if Mustang wheels will fit the Flex? The bolt pattern is the same (5 on 4.5), but how about backspacing?
