Frontierland is one of the themed lands at Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It is among the park's original lands. Magic Kingdom's Frontierland opened in 1971 together with the park.

Bringing the Western charm of iconic national parks to a brand-new story inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ Cars, Lightning McQueen, Mater and all their friends will soon find themselves at the Magic Kingdom in a reimagined section of Frontierland.

Not only does the island offer unique views of Magic Kingdom, especially Haunted Mansion, Liberty Square, and Frontierland, but this is a great place to explore. Little ones, especially, will love all of the different spots to play and burn off energy.

During the 2024 D23 Parks and Experience Panel, Disney announced the expansion of Frontierland in Magic Kingdom to include a new Cars-themed area. To make room for this new land, the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island will be transformed into “vast and rugged terrains for a rally race.”
