May 8, 2018 · I own an amp with 2 C3855 transistors and 2 A1491 transistors, could anybody help me with an circuit diagram, so i could remove the components maybe and perhaps buy new ones to create a smaller amplifier than the one i have.

My amp's schematic has 2SC3855 (O/Y) and 2SA1491 (O/Y). The Sanken datasheet does not address this "beta" group issue. The pair pulled from my amp both are the Y variety. I'm going to need two pair. What is the significance of the O or Y? Will I be okay with either one, as long as all are the same? Do they all need to be the same?
