Jan 15, 2024 · 4c hair is the weakest not strongest bc of all the super small curls and the bends in the curls. Without proper moisture it tangles up the most and causes the most damage when dry. I say this not to be negative but bc lots of people treat 4c hair horribly bc they think the texture can "handle it" when it can't.

Jun 14, 2024 · It's so unwarranted alot of times. You can just relax your hair if you feel like but making it seem like 4c hair is a pariah it downright disgusting. SOME of these black women with 4c hair complex and wigs all day will even praise black men for their fades, fros and locs but when it's black women it's suddenly unkept and difficult to manage.

I have fine, high density, armpit length "4c" hair. I only detangle once a week on wash day during the conditioning process under running water.

I hate my hair because I feel like I just can’t win. All I want is thick, healthy, right below the shoulder length hair. That’s it! I’d be so happy. But nothing works.

Leave your hair alone, the constant heat, combing, brushing, will cause breakage. 4. If you do want to wear your hair out wash once a week or every other week with rice water & no sulfate hair products.

May 29, 2023 · This is my hair type. 4b hair looks less visibly coily when dry compared to 4a hair, and may even resemble 4c hair at times, especially when unmoisturized. 4b textured coils probably won't clump together naturally like 4a, but with product and gel in it can look nearly indistinguishable from 4a hair, regardless of its fluffy cotton like texture ...
