Jul 31, 2020 · If you look around at gun shows, or online, you may come across foreign-manufactured ammo that’s labeled 7.65mm. That is the European name for the .32 Auto, but be aware that you need the 7.65mm Browning round. There are others, like the 7.65mm Parabellum, which PPU mentioned above also sells and which is an entirely different caliber.

Dec 31, 2015 · Walther pistols marked 7,65mm on the slides will shoot American-made .32 ACP ammo. They also will shoot shoot European-made ammo marked .32 ACP or 7,65mm. Not sure what the Walther expert was going for, exactly, or why. Mine do just fine with a steady diet of Remington and Winchester ammo.

Apr 26, 2014 · You have a 1939 Walther PPK 7.65mm commercial model. The Crown/N stamp inside the ejection port, on the slide, and at the muzzle is the prewar proof stamp. Your PPK was made right at the start of WWII and was very possibly a private purchase sidearm by a German military officer. . You have a postwar type PPK magazine in 7.65mm.

Nov 3, 2024 · I thought that I preferred the PPK and PPK/s but have come to realize the PP is the superior pistol. The 3.9" barrel permits the cartridge to reach its full potential and enhances the controllability as well generate increased penetrating power.

Feb 6, 2013 · I have a question regarding the PPK/S. I saw an Interarms one in 7.65mm, marked "Made In W. Germany" and all, though, not in the best shape. Blue steel, of course, but the metal not in the best shape. I wanted to know the rarity of coming in this caliber.

Nov 10, 2013 · In the US the 9mmk has been a little more popular than the 7.65mm since the late 50's. The 9mm parabellum since the US Military has adopted it in the 1980's. The 7.65mm has only become popular again with the Walther folks and since the discontinue of the PPK and PPK/S in this caliper. Even if the US ammo manufacturers drop the 7.65mm ammo.
