Feb 24, 2005 · The annoying "unpleasantly warm" rooms at the POP was the #1 reason we switched our upcoming trip from POP to AS Music. I had seen in my last trip notes where I said the temperature was very hot, and I didnt get a good nights sleep all week. At home I sleep with the AC on, and 2 fans. My son is autistic and has Sensory Integration.

Aug 8, 2000 · Regardless of the type of Popup, if you are spending the day at the parks and only coming back to your popup at night I would be surprised if the AC does not keep your popup at least bearable at night. Another thing at Disney is the Campground sites have very good shade. This will help in keeping the Pop-up from getting too hot during the day.

Since the skyliner my stays have been at Pop Century so this will be a nice change.

Sep 13, 2016 · We opened up the popup this weekend to prepare it for our Keys trip in a couple of weeks and the A/C no longer cools :( It was working great when we left the Fort a month ago. This is our 1984 Coleman that we remodeled - I think the air is original - so that puts it at 32 years old...

Apr 24, 2013 · It has a "feature" called soft-standby. Even when in bypass mode, the display will only show the set temperature and the AC will cycle off at a different (higher) temperature programmed into the thermostat by building maintenance. So the room is 78F when you get there, you set the temp to 67F and the AC kicks on.

Every time we plan a trip my DW and I keep going back to "we have just as much fun at POP and save so much $$" BTW, we do not just use a resort to sleep and shower either, we do have "Resort days" and spend time at our resorts and it still does not ...

May 9, 2001 · Then we stopped at Pop Century, AoA, Carribean, *** and finally AsMu. Almost 1h45, ouch! On return, we did AsMovie, then Pop/AoA, Carribean, and Saratoga. Plus we were the last terminal to leave. Again felt too long. I don't remember Magical Express to be that bad honestly. Pretty sure we will go private transport this year.

Feb 18, 2025 · It also allows pop ins to Magic Kingdom which is nice because Wilderness Lodge is so close. I think a plan is coming together, and if we are all fine with delaying our entrance into the parks we can do Disney Springs before the party and be ready to play all night. Should be fun. It is definitely going to be fun!
