Mar 2, 2016 · As far as traits for an archlich (or arch lich, or arch-lich), since they are not currently mentioned in 5E lore, we basically have to pull it from other editions. So far, what I can say for sure about archliches: They do not have to be evil-aligned. My patron is Nuetral-something (doesn't really matter, just not evil), and I am CG myself.

I do like that he has three reactions to compensate for the lack of legendary actions. Especially Dread Counterspell which punishes spellcasters for even attempting to sling spells at him.

Jan 12, 2018 · I was originally under the impression that an Archlich was just a more powerful lich, however upon looking it up on the forgotten realms wiki "Archliches were a type of lich that were good beings during their life." they also retain their alignment after becoming a lich.

Arch-liches have a 33% chance of getting either an athame (66%) or a non-negatively enchanted quarterstaff. There is a very small (1/260) chance the athame is Magicbane. If you teleport, a pet arch-lich will teleport itself to your new location. They will pick up and wear armor, but not wield weapons. You do not need to feed it.
