Aroza (アロザ) is a Kaiju who appeared in the series, Mirrorman. Subtitle: Ancient Dinosaur (古代恐竜, Kodai Kyōryū)

Dinosaur Aroza Rises From the Dead (生きかえった恐竜アロザ, Ikikaetta Kyoryu Aroza) is the eighteenth episode of Mirrorman. The episode was released theatrically at the 1972 Summer Toho Champion Matsuri alongside a re-release of Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster and episodes of Mock of the Oak Tree, Tensai Bakabon and Akado Suzunosuke.

The Kaiju from the first non-ultra series from Tsuburaya Productions, Mirrorman. They are usually created when the Invaders get shot by a laser from one of their ships and change into giant monsters.

An ancient dinosaur revived and empowered by the Invaders, Aroza is sent to destroy a self defense force base. Aroza, despite being your average saurian monster seen throughout tokusatsu, feels a bit out of place here in Mirrorman due to just how regular he feels.

After sustaining a heavy loss, Kyotaro must learn the truths of facing adversity head-on and come to grips with his own self-worth. Meanwhile, the SGM researches the dinosaur to find that the Invaders plan on using it to destroy the Underground Space Operations Center.

Below is a list of all the live action Toho films that feature a kaiju. Although the term kaiju can be used to describe any monster, this list only includes productions that feature those that are much larger than humans (daikaijus) like Godzilla, Mothra and Rodan.

I tried to avoid duplicating titles on the two lists, but I'm sure I missed a few. However, the lists demonstrate just how prolific the Japanese movie studios were over several decades!
