Jun 7, 2020 · Summary: The AT7 is a great tank and does well in all matchups. as a top-tier tank, you can rely on your armor to brawl with other tanks in close quarters, or snipe from the back and pen every time. In bottom-tier matchups, you can snipe from the back and manage to pen with the amazing pen the gun has.

Aug 24, 2015 · I had a lot of trouble with the AT7. As you say, the armor profile is essentially unchanged from the AT2 and AT8, with only some changes in angling. The fact that you're now facing up to tier 9 opponents means that you're going to get penned a lot more.

May 7, 2016 · at7 is glorious, I got even better results than with at8. I have 70% win rate in it (with a 52% general). Just pick a corridor and hide 90% of your tank, just showing the gun at an angle. Not even tier 9 can pen reliably that area of your tank.

The AT7 and AT8 might look like the AT15 but they're nothing like it - AT15 has a good gun and can swivel that gun to fire around corners in city battles and as long as you keep your hatch hidden it's a beast - Got my TD15-2 in it so it can't be that bad.

What I found is that the AT-8 is extremely tier dependent, if you are top tier you're in of the best tanks out there and at the bottom, it's a real struggle.
