Apr 7, 2021 · I'm torn between f90 m5 comp and g80 awd m3 comp. Love the m5, and recognizing how big it is, I still wish it handled a little stiffer. I haven't driven the m3 comp (either the rwd or awd). I have been in an m340. While the fit and finish is far from the m5, the drivability and fun was impressive.

Feb 20, 2022 · I do think the G80 is perhaps BMW's nicest looking platform so far. The M5 is awesome but let us not forget it is "older" styling. The front grille looks so much better than any other generation. The thing is it feels like the cars are so similar (as an overall weighted experience) yet so different.

Jan 29, 2022 · I had a 2019 F90 M5 and now a 2022 G80 M3. The reason that I switched was the M5 is too big for my everyday needs. Where I live has tight parking spaces. So M3 makes my life a lot easier, and the manual transmission is a huge bonus. In terms of driving, I like the M5 better. Much more planted and the power feels endless.
