Feb 28, 2025 · Using MATLAB/SIMULINK Software, an 8/6 4-phase SRM is simulated using the proposed converter and controller, the controller here is a closed loop control of voltage PWM SRM drive with an inner current loop. The simulation data validated the torque ripple-reducing capability of the suggested converter in the SRM control process.
An outer speed PI control loop in the induction motor drive, shown in Figure computes the frequency and voltage set points for the inverter and the converter respectively.
The effectiveness of closed loop and open loop systems are contrasted. Additionally, the suggested converter for the SRMT is assessed in loaded conditions, and a comparison of the no-load and loaded SRM is shown.
