Congrats on first fish of 2025! As of stocked trout ponds outside of Las Vegas , there's several on my radar in Utah I'll be sure to check out 1 day. One of them is a must for me because of big Tiger trout (hybrid of brown/rainbow) and a cutthroat pond, if it even possible hatching these brutes.

Got up near some pads and found three Crappie that are basically the same size as I’ve shown before. It felt like I was catching the same three fish on like three trips now.

Feb 7, 2025 · I was about to give up and go home , but I swapped rods , I swapped lures to a green pumpkin Z-Man WormZ on a .8g jighead , hoping to salvage the day with a few green fish . In the next 48 minutes I caught four bass , three Bluegills and a shellcracker. All on the WormZ . I was surprised I caught the gills on the bigger bait on a size 8 hook .

Dec 1, 2024 · After an hour I switched rods to a 6’6” TFO T&P UL , Daiwa Legalis lt 1000 combo and hooked one other fish but never got it in , This was my first time out in these conditions. May 19, 2006 · I'll sit the scaled and gutted fish in a pie plate of evaporated milk, then dredge it in flour or cornmeal before frying. The trick to eating whole fish is to lift the skin with the edge of your knife and remove it.Then use your knife to lift the meat off the bones (don't stick your fork into the fish or you'll come up with a bunch of bones!).

Once the water warmed in my pond, about 20 or more sunnies were cruising just below the surface in a large school swimming in the same direction parallel to shore.
