The attached photos are of my Baldwin CNW #5000A DRS6-2-1000 built using left over parts from 2 AHM E8/9s that I had from building a E8 "B" unit several years ago. A friend of mine had seen the body laying in a "future projects to complete" box and said if I would finish the body he would build the power chassis.

Baldwin 5000A is on my under construction layout. 5000A was made from 2 old AHM E8/9s, with stretched P2K chassis. All detail from the E8s was removed and new added.

stretched babyface bodyshell to be airbrushed in the painting scheme of Chicago & NorthWestern RR.

This download contains both N and HO scale body shells of C&NW 5000-A. For both scales, versions are included with and without the raised front C&NW herald. The HO version is designed to fit a Proto 1000 DL-109 chassis; the N scale version does not directly fit any commercial chassis and will require additional fabrication to complete.
