CVAN's mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for battered women and their children and to actively work to end domestic violence in our community. History In 1982, CVAN was created as the place and the voice for battered women and their children in Cabarrus County, NC.

And, CVAN’s logo was featured on Jimmie Johnson’s Helmet during the Sprint Cup Race on Sunday June 24th in Sonoma, CA. In its 5th year, Helmet of Hope has awarded over $300,000 to 49 different charities.

Description: CVAN is seeking someone, who can work alone, to oversee the Shelter and answer the 24-Hour Hotline during the overnight shift. Duties Include: • Oversee and Monitor the Shelter during the overnight shift. • Assist shelter residents, being aware of their needs and their safety. • Answer the 24-hour Hotline.
