Gorgon is the name of several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The most common of the Gorgons was part of the evil gang called the Extremists. [1] He is based on the Marvel Comics supervillain Doctor Octopus, but his tentacles are organic rather than mechanical.
