Feb 18, 2015 · Since the DDA40X is essentially two GP40s on one frame (and the GP40 is almost identical externally to the GP50), one would assume that the external differences on the DDA40X would be similar. Same thing, really, with the DD35A. Figure out what would be changed on a GP35 and just apply that double. Gensets are a different story.
