At Bikes4Kids, bikes are donated to us from local bike shops, recycling centers, city governments and individuals. We then refurbish these bikes and give them away, along with a helmet and lock, to someone who might not otherwise be able to afford one.

Have an old bike sitting in your garage that you never ride anymore? Pickup Please collects donations on behalf of our charities, so your used bicycles can help support their programs and missions. We can accept just about any used bicycle as long as there is air in the tires and it is in ride-able condition.

Your donated bike will be given free to youth and adults experiencing challenges in their daily lives who perform community service. We serve people primarily in Madison and Dane County. We clean, adjust, repair, and rebuild every bike we give out.

Rusty’s Bicycle Recycle is a 100% volunteer organization, no employees. We repair donated bicycles and deliver them to partner charities who serve the unhoused, including homeless veterans and foster children. Many of our volunteers have been associated with the organization since its inception.
