The Airbus Helicopters H130 (formerly Eurocopter EC130) is a single engine light utility helicopter developed from the earlier Eurocopter AS350 Écureuil, one of the primary changes from which was the adoption of a Fenestron anti-torque device in place of a conventional tail rotor.

The H130 is an intermediate single-engine helicopter tailored for passenger transport, sightseeing and VIP duties, as well as medical airlift and surveillance missions. As a multi-role rotorcraft, the H130 has a spacious cabin for a pilot and up to seven passengers.

For medical evacuation, EC130 can comfortably transport up to two stretcher patients and two doctors or medical staff. The cabin is equipped with an air conditioning system that has air intake installed in the trunk compartment door and an air conditioning unit mounted on the tail boom.

Dec 1, 2012 · United Rotorcraft announces it was awarded the contract by Enloe Medical Center of Chico, CA to complete the medical center’s new Eurocopter EC130 T2 aircraft. The contract includes the manufacture and integration of a new Federal Aviation Administration (STC’d) approved medical EMS interior and avionics suite.
