Apr 27, 2020 · finished the game with no mods, as an outlaw. if there was a "light" rebalanced mod (just the cost of ammo and quantity of ammo per craft, to make it worth, or removing the recepies for tonics from the world/rise their cost) just to make the outlaws more unique and interesting, but otherwise I see zero reasons to use a mod.

Jun 13, 2020 · I was playing without any mods and i finished the game 3 times on all difficulties. I do not think that any mod is required to enjoy the game especially if you are piranha games veteran. However during my second run i used a mod to have an effect of all sunglasses without actually wearing them.

May 2, 2022 · Sometimes mods are not compatible and they can break each other. I would recommend checking if mods are working at all. What I would do: Make sure game is closed. Remove those two mods. Install Moonglasses (because it's extremely easy to verify if this mods is working) by copying "m_1_moonglasses_normal.pak" to ELEX\data\packed\

Aug 2, 2019 · In Elex however, thats no longer the case. In the base game you have certain weapons that are clearly more powerful then the others (Scrap Hatchet, Slaughterblase, plasma/laser rifles, War Bow). The most effective way to play was to find these weapons early and upgrade them as fast as possible.

Nov 20, 2021 · I am the author of Moonglasses, and seeing that this is second time someone asks about compatibility with Elex Overhaul, I've decided to take a look. Newest version 1.0.1 should work with Elex Overhaul, but it will overwrite changes made in sunglasses and en.str (strings file) made by Elex Overhaul.

The modding community for Gothic 2 is just as dedicated as the Bethesda communities, if not at large. After Gothic 2 mod support from the developers dwindled and because the quality of the games did too, there never were any serious attempts to mod

May 30, 2023 · My hope for Elex 3 is that it becomes a game that you can simply install and play, without the need to compile a list of 30 mods to enhance the experience. We have a wonderful and creative community here who make their games shine since Gothic 1, but the majority of players may not even consider creating or installing mods.

Aug 28, 2020 · People have recommended this mod and it's one of the most endorsed files on the Nexus. I read over the changes it makes to the game and it seems very promising; I like the changes to the ranged weapons and the bugfixes in particular based on what I've read, as I haven't played the game yet.
