Fender amps - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Dec 24, 2024 · The amp had a quick mod done to the Normal Channel which added significant midrange to the amp- which was great for super reflective, 'chatty' treble-y rooms, to tame the brightness a bit. The Reverb & Tremolo also worked on this channel. Today, it's a SS Fender Frontman 25R with a good 10" as my current "tube' ( not!) Fender amp.
Fender Amp Faceplate Restoration / Repair: Who does it?
Nov 7, 2024 · All the proper iron, and just a simple 6-knob front end. Fortunately, there is no 'drill' damage to the front, so no holes to repair that way. (or in the back!!). But, a LOT of work to do under the skirt! In the end, I'll have what will essentially be a 100% 'Fender' AA864 Blackface Bassman amp, just shy of one thing: The proper faceplate!
Any real alternative to a Fender amp? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Sep 26, 2016 · I have GAS. I've played enough amps to know that I like clean and overdrive only. I think a Fender amp with a few pedals would really work for me. Now the vox cost me $500 Canadian dollars used. And it's a lot of amp compared to the old crappy solid states I used to play. I'd love to find an amp of that calibre in more of a Fender flavour.

Fender Ultimate Chorus - yay or nay? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Sep 24, 2010 · I've had an Ultra Chorus since 92 - twin 12, 65 watts, stereo chorus - it is a very good clean Fender amp. It also handles effects well, on occasion I put a BK Butler Tube Works pre-amp in front of it and the combination of the Ultra Chorus and the tube pre-amp gives me many different sounds from clean to brown to dirty, even at at low volumes.
1960’s Fender Amp Survival Rate - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Dec 16, 2024 · I would think the survival rate is quite high, since all of the components are replaceable. So, unless the amp suffered catastrophic damage in a fire or flood, or the amp fell out of a moving vehicle and the cabinet destroyed, there is no reason for the 1960's amps to have been serviced a time or two and still going strong.
Fender Stage 160 - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Aug 24, 2012 · I had a Fender Stage 100 that I just recently sold to make room for a new tube amp. The Stage 100 was nice though. Nice loud clean, took pedals well. The Stage 160 is the same amp but with 2x12, I think. You should be able to find these things used between $100-200, and at that price they're real bargains.
Which Red Knob Fender Amps Are Desirable - Telecaster Guitar …
May 21, 2012 · I came to Fender from Music Man, and all of the amp designs from 85 onward were unique from Paul’s designs that were produced prior to that time. Paul actually worked in Fender marketing, and spent much of his time specifying the product designs, while other design engineers in Fender R&D performed the actual product development work.
Are these kinds of amps good for beginner or should i get a …
Dec 13, 2024 · Whatever amp you get, try and get a quality brand name amp, and make sure it has a Headphone Out Jack. (This makes practicing a lot better, and it guarantees you won't bother housemates, flat mates, and neighbors.) Me, I'm a fan of trying everything I can plug into, and waiting to find that amp that sings to me.
Fender Zodiac Amps - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jul 15, 2009 · Now in both books they mention the again failed attempt of Fender to make a SS amp this time called the Zodiac line 1969 to 1971 and the amps were named Libra, Capricorn, Scorpio and Taurus. All had JBL speakers. Now the Purpose of my thread was I NEVER HEARD OF THESE AMPS.
