Feb 7, 2018 · We coupled it to the D252 driver. This is an 8-ohm, 50W driver with a 4.0cm aluminum voice coil. It has a 650g Alnico magnet and the unit weighs 3.3kg. The performance is 500-20k, 104dB efficiency with a crossover at 600Hz or higher. This driver, too, was specifically designed for studio monitoring. We drove it from 800-7K.

I assembled the stack (sans horns, for now) - I have some minor fixes left to do on the horns, and need to build a crossover before I can feed signal to the super-rare drivers. Jan 15, 2013 · They use the fw400, f205, d252 and t825. The crossovers are very very similar to what you've posted even to the black wooden boards they are mounted on which appear to be identical. Did you specifically mount them on the wooden woods or did the crossovers get supplied to you by fostex like this?

Feb 28, 2022 · I am looking for a pair of vintage Fostex D252 compression drivers preferably with the H420 teak horn. These are from the Laboratory Series speakers and were found on LS2, LS3 and LS4 speakers from Fostex in the early to mid 80's.
