Feb 27, 2025 · The SCAR-H has a battle-proven pedigree, as does the M110. The FAL and M14 are older designs - but also "battle proven". The SCAR-H is the lightest of these rifles by a good margin. The SFAR is interesting, but certainly hasn't been put through its paces like the above-mentioned battle rifles.

I give it a 9/10 because I never used or owned an Airsoft Scar-H. Only a springer Sig Sauer MPX. But looks very good.

Feb 15, 2024 · The SCAR-17 met the solicitation requirements of SOCOM, like it or not. They're the ones that asked for a non-reciprocating charging handle and the lighter weight. FN could easily upgrade this platform to add a hydraulic buffer, use AR-10 magazines, improve the OEM stock hinge, and offer more suppressor settings and different barrel profiles.
