Hama should have died in the movies instead of Haldir : r/lotr
It was Hama’s body which was hewn, even as he lay dead, at the Gates of the Hornburg. Remember Hama, he was a great man. Haldir lived long, prospered and was not hewn at Gates of the Hornburg. Forget Haldir, for he considered shooting Gimli.

Jun 10, 2022 · The LotR movies are great. I’d have preferred more book-accurate, but that’s not a big issue. They’re well done and pretty good given the time constraints. I just wish they had also made The Hobbit into film. Maybe someone should ask Peter Jackson about it.
What happened to Haleth (son of Hama)? : r/lotr - Reddit
Jun 4, 2020 · The LotR trilogy are my go-to comfort movies (obviously). The celebration scenes from The Shire, post battle victories, and other moments of general light heartedness bring me extra joy. Any other films or shows that give off a similar energy?

Apr 8, 2023 · Also interesting are the facts that the name "Haleth" means 'warrior'. And that this Haleth of Rohan had a brother named "HAMA". Another interesting trivia about this character is that he is played by Calum Gittins, who is the son of Phillipa Boyens (who co-wrote the screenplays for both the PJ trilogies, and was a co-producer of TH trilogy).

Jan 3, 2024 · This dude you point out at Helm’s Deep might be a Erkenbrand, it’s quite possible. In the setting, I always took it as he seems to be filling in as a new commander, as Hama’s replacement after Hama was killed by the warg scout earlier in the film.

Dec 9, 2021 · Hama fought in the battle of the Hornburg. He fell before the great gate, and his body was hacked to pieces by a horde of Uruks. He was given the honour of being buried in a grave of his own under the shadow of the Hornburg.
Holdup, what? Lol. : r/lotr - Reddit
Jun 12, 2024 · Yes. And further, it's likely Aragorn at least knew of Hama since the time Hama was Haleth's age. Hama was the door warden, after all, and Aragorn was very familiar with Rohan. Aragorn gives Haleth the courage to fight then goes directly into the scene where he's arming up and he's even more determined himself.
