Jun 4, 2024 · When you said Honshu - it means taking out Tohoku as well… Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku are left. To the West beyond Honshu, it’s Kyushu and Shikoku (although it’s technically more East of Honshu Hiroshima/Okayama side). Kyushu’s main city is Fukuoka.

We stuck to Honshu and spent time in: Tokyo; Fuji Five Lakes; Hakone; Magome/Tsumago/Nakasendo Trail; Kyoto; Nara; Osaka; Nachi Falls; Himeji; and Hiroshima/Miyajima.
