Mar 17, 2023 · As of the Creator Create Tab, it seems no longer possible to set/change a subplace’s Icon / Thumbnail. A while ago, teleporting from the Start Place to a sub place used to show the sub place’s custom thumbnail.

Before sharing your experience, add a custom image for the game icon and thumbnail. Changing these will help players get an idea of what the experience is about. The thumbnail is the image that shows up on the game's dedicated page.

Dec 4, 2024 · My question was how to have the Icons appear where the part is on the map. This did not answer my question. I see, kinda like an image overlaying that section of the map? A textlabel on the minimap where the part is yes. However, Decals are rendered in veiwports.

Set the media type to Image and click the Change button. Then, from the file browser, select and confirm the image you want to use as the icon. Note that all icon images must pass moderation before they appear to others on the Roblox platform.
