I have a question have someone tried 14" JBL 2254J woofer for low frequency in HiFi I am making two pair of four way speaker and I have 2254j for low 2251j for mid 2435hpl for high and 045be for UHF and crossover point 300Hz 800Hz 10kHz.

It can be run lower when used in a LF-reinforced array (like when 6 of the 4895s are stacked together), but maybe in a home listening environment this can be extended down a bit with DSP and EQ.

Feb 2, 2017 · All those mentioned are excellent units, and was/is used a lot by JBL in Vertec/VTX, STX, VRX, HLA and Cinema systems. Yes, I am aware. My main question was about the 10" 2251J, and as far as I know it was only used in the HLA4895 and 4348.
