Nov 2, 2017 · Most JBL's are efficient enough to sound very good with small wattage. My little Scott 15watt tube amp works well with some L-101's and a 35watt Luxman receiver takes it to party volumes even. I found mine a few months ago for $20 and put a little work into them and am a new JBL fan as well.

A clean set of 4312s will run you around 700.00 USD more if theyre minty. They are on the lower efficiency side of things for JBL. 91db/1watt like a lot of there early 80s offerings

Jun 9, 2014 · My 25 year old Jbl 035TIA tweeters sounded like crap. one of them justed hissed above 10k hz. the damping plug was pure goo. i replaced with the jbl035tia clone from Midwest speakers. huge improvement.

Jul 9, 2014 · L112 has an Aluminum Dome tweeter (044), 4312c has a Titanium Dome tweeter (035Ti). It's my opinion, and shared by many others, that the later dome tweeters (044, 035Ti, etc) are better than the earlier cone tweeters.

I also had a 4518 ported subwoofer cabinet for an 18in woofer, and originally it came with a JBL 2245 foam edge extended bass driver. Again, many people LOVE this driver, but, it wasnt punchy enough for my taste.

Oct 11, 2021 · I am a bit of a JBL fan, have owned many JBL speakers over the years including the L100A, L166, L65A, L300A, L15, 18Ti, 4312A, 4412A, 4410A, LSR series, 4333, and likely I missed a few. The L100A were the first step and just led to newer and better JBLs.

Aside from the fact that one is a JBL consumer product and one is JBL Pro is there much difference in these products; Audibly?
