Dec 21, 2018 · Update, I have purchased and am in the process of restoring a Vetter Terraplane sidecar for my BMW K100RS. I have ordered two kits from DMC sidecars for the hookup. One kit for the bike and the other for the Vetter sidecar. I am hoping to have it completed by mid winter and on the road next spring.

They are designed for ultimate handling and use automobile tires for longer mileage by far than conventional sidecar tires. Today. it would cost approximately 30. 00 to build the same unit with a K100.

Aug 6, 2014 · You might advertise on the United Sidecar Association, IBMWR site, or BMWOA site for tubs, too. You might even get lucky and find an actual EML car. The K100 is a monster tug, and EML stuff is about as heavy duty and well engineered as it gets.

Nov 27, 2005 · A K100 is a great platform for a sidecar rig, and EML makes a great sidecar, but (as previously observed) it is a not inexpensive choice. I have a friend with a K100RT/EML rig that he bought already built and setup for about $13,000.

Jul 7, 2016 · Do I have a sidecar on a k75 now? Yes, absolutely, but this time I have a Bruno-rebuilt driveshaft and final drive on that tug and expect many many thousands of miles from it. I think a K100 would be an awesome tug.
