Jun 9, 2003 · Notably, if I'm going to spend $2000 on a PC case / desk ,I'm expecting it to last for the long haul. 5-10 years at least. One reason I could invest in CaseLabs without fear (until their closing) was that users could buy individual components of the case as their needs varied and technology progressed.

Dec 1, 2020 · If I'm correct, for the EK kit and that particular desk model you'll need only 1 of the two "main" plates (ie the large DK-05F needs both of them) plus the modular pump-integrated distro plate unit. Edit: I dont know how those LianLi fans stack up, but check out Noctua, EK, and Corsair MagLev too as other alternatives.

Mar 17, 2011 · OP: I run a 20 year old case with modern hardware. The main limitation as pointed out is fans/airflow. Water cool, dremel or choose a case with large mesh/open rear and you can sort of fudge it. I just stuck 2x180mm fans loose inside and luckily the front intakes are 92mm because weird old server cases.

Nov 12, 2020 · Sounds like vibration from the fans, resonating and traveling through the case. Check to make sure there aren't any loose cables touching the sides or front of the case, make sure all four feet are touching the floor/desk and not missing the rubber pad. Also, see if disabling any of the fans causes the vibration to stop.

Nov 11, 2023 · Gaming desk, black from Ikea and I was curious about what other good desks you guys might have or have seen that are nice and aesthetically pleasing. I'm trying to find better desk ideas. I currently run three 27" monitors. 2 in landscape mode and 1 in portrait mode. (Not that, that part matters), and a Lian Li O11 dynamic mid tower case. TIA

Feb 16, 2005 · I have the Lian Li V 1000 B Plus II with a DFI Lanparty NF4 UT board and an Enermax Liberty 500 powersupply. The powerbutton on the Lian Li will work if I shut the computer down through windows, but if I hard shutdown using the power button it doesn't power back up when I press the button.

May 29, 2014 · Given the fact that this has been done a million times by just about every modder on the planet, I am actually kind of surprised we haven't seen something like this sooner. Lian Li has a long way to go before they can compete with the L3p D3sk or the Raz3r D3sk. :cool:

Jun 26, 2021 · Lian Li PC-65! That was the first case I actually thought looked good enough to bother with installing cold cathode lights ha. Loved that brushed aluminum look. Coolermaster and Lian Li were battling for supremacy back then I was fond of these too
