Nov 27, 2017 · The Socom series of rifles will take standard M1A or M14 stocks. With the Socom series only the barrel, gas lock/muzzle brake (all one piece) and sights are proprietary.

Jan 18, 2023 · The Scout was actually introduced in the mid 90's, almost 10 years ahead of the Socom, but there wasn't much marketing around it. Before that, it was known as the Bush rifle, going back to the 80's. The Bush rifle did not have the barrel mounted rail. I've always viewed the Socom as an excellent weapon for a defensive posture.

Aug 26, 2018 · No rhyme or reason. The SEI SOCOM gaslock sight base and the standard height M14 front sight with GI rear aperture works for most, but not all. SEI gas lock front sight base is taller than the SOCOM, so shorter than XS front sight is generally needed. ie..SEI base w/ standard 14 sight. The different SOCOM XS sights show there is some variance.

Feb 5, 2012 · Here's my Socom 16 Suppressed using a Delta P Design thread adapter for Socoms and a YHM Titanium Phantom 7.62 suppressor. My iPhone 4s was dying so I dumped the magazine. This was after the stuck case issues I had earlier in the day. 2nd video is my C3 dealer giving it a whirl. First thing I noticed was the blowback.
