All of the Arduino tutorials I see are about either using the iPhone to control a bluebooth device, or about using bluetooth to control an arduino, neither of which are what I want to do.

Apr 26, 2020 · Using an arduino and a HC-06 bluetooth module. We've managed to connect the module up to the phone and we can also send serial data to the phone with the serial monitor on our PC and use a bluetooth monitor on the phone to see the data.

Instead of writing 240 to data bits high and low byte of the color for each pixel, which takes more 241 than 300ms to fill the screen, set once data bits to 0's for black or 242 to 1's for white and start changing control bit WR from LOW to HIGH to 243 write whole area. It takes cca 70 ms.

Upload IRPrintValues.ino to your Leonardo (be sure to change the pin ID to the one the receiver is on!) Take note of the codes printed and replace the values in the main code. Upload the main code to the Leonardo.
