The Pontiac GTO is a front-engine, rear-drive, two-door, and four-passenger automobile manufactured and marketed by the Pontiac division of General Motors over four generations from 1963 until 1974 in the United States — with a fifth generation made by GM's Australian subsidiary, Holden, for the 2004 through 2006 model years.

The 1967 Pontiac GTO was offered in three body types; coupe, hardtop and convertible. A 400 cu inch V8 engine was standard for 1967 GTO. The standard engine could yield 335hp @5200 rpm with a torque of 431@3200.

The 1969 GTO could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). It could go from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.2 seconds. The GTO was equipped with a 400 cubic inch (6.6L) V8 engine producing 350 to 370 horsepower.
