6 days ago · Tom Gelb was in our Muskie Inc chapter . Back in the 80’s, Remember him telling me, he would take 5-6 hard rows with the oars before pulling rod. I’m guessing it was pushing 10-12 seconds before he grabbed the rod! JD

Dec 25, 2008 · Like with all lakes that have a spillway, muskie often escape over the dam when the water is high. I could be mistaken, but wasn't Pewaukee busting its banks earlier this year? So anyway. How's the musky fishing in this river? I mainly ask, because my grandma lives in Brookfield off of Springdale right by North Ave. The Fox flows right by there!

Jan 23, 2006 · There are also muskies naturally occuring in some WV and OH tributaries, e.g. the Little Muskingum River near Marietta, OH. WV stocks a number of rivers some of which eventually drain into the Ohio. Kentucky also has a number of rivers and streams with native muskie populations some of which probably drain into the Ohio.

I've heard people say "cedar and poplar are too soft, you have to through wire" The way I see it is most of the big time trolling lures are made from cedar and the majority of them just use screw eyes and you never hear of one coming apart.
