Zekrom is the game mascot of Pokémon White. Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem are often collectively referred to as the Tao trio by fans.

When you reach the top, you will see that N has awoken Zekrom/Reshiram (in Black/White respectively). He will tell you that the Pokémon will help him in his quest to become the strongest trainer and free all the Pokémon from trainers and get the world to be one where every person and Pokémon works in complete unity.

Essentially, if N was more like Ghetsis in personality, Zekrom would fit him more (Ghetsis' party in both games do contain a few physical attackers. also Zekrom and Ghetsis both have red eyes). However, N isn't like Ghetsis. he's quieter, empathetic, fitting Reshiram better.

N and Zekrom are an Electric-type sync pair who have been available since 12/24/20. Their expanded sync grid has also been available since 12/24/20. New tiles were added on 11/1/22.

The best N and Zekrom Sync Grid Builds are Outrage Focused or Bolt Strike Focused depending on what other teammates you are pairing them with.

I think Zekrom is the better Dragon Type for N (but then again I might have a bias since I own Black instead of White). The ideals theme that Zekrom has just seems to fit N's personality and ideology more than Reshiram's truths theme.
