The whole point of OneDrive for us, is a secure cloud based back up. We use the NAS drive daily, and periodically copy the folder to OneDrive as back up. Sep 30, 2024 · NAS requires SMB 1.0, which is by default disabled in Windows. Press Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run. Type optionalfeatures.exe Press Enter. In the Windows Features dialog box that opens, scroll down and locate "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support".

Dec 11, 2024 · For me the solution was to set the NAS power/sleep settings to "never". Since I've done that I have not had any issues. Without going into the nitty gritty, windows looses the credentials for some reason when my WD NAS went to sleep. It's strange because I have two WD NAS units and only the MyCloud EX2 Ultra had this issue. Try turning off "sleep".

Dec 3, 2018 · Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. You should be able to use your Network-attached storage device on your Xbox, no problem. However, You wouldn't be able to use it to store games or apps. You will be able to browse your movies, music and pictures from the NAS though. Hope this helps!
