Aug 13, 2009 · I started playing country about 1992 when I was 12, and when I was 16 I discovered 311 and they opened me up to tons of other kinds of music. P-Nut is my favorite bass player, hands down. I love playing 311 stuff on bass. P-Nut is an inspiring bass player, and easy to reach. Just hit up the 311 forum where he is a semi-regular poster.

Jan 2, 2001 · P-nut plays that slap part in their most recent radio song "Come Original" as a sort of a Marcus tribute, the line is similiar to some of Marcus' best work. I may get in trouble for saying this, but why do you think you are qualified to judge his slapping abilities.

Nov 7, 2005 · Actually P-Nut is my biggest influence and I'm very proud of him. He truly is a great bassist. Never too flashy, but never boring P-Nut always lays down the groove. Definately check out 311's first two albums Music (93) and Grassroots (94) Yo P-Nut! Beat that thing!

Jan 2, 2001 · P-Nut has been an above average player since before he joined 311. After over a decade of live shows, he ought to have no problem pulling stuff like that off. It's worth noting however that in addition to really good equipment, P-Nut has a professional soundman helping things out live. Not saying that P-Nut isn't the man.. but that is a factor.

Nov 26, 2003 · The P-NUT II is one sick piece of bass! It is quite heavy though. Sounds great and is very powerful... And VintageBT6Lover: this is the best made warwick I have ever seen! the quality is top notch. better even than some custom shop basses I have seen! plus, it has the wenge neck that people prize from the older models, but with purpleheart stripes!

Jul 15, 2004 · P-Nut doesn't use his effects subtly. When his distortion or chorus is on, you definitely know it. I've seen 311 live a few times and have all the home videos, and have noticed this.
