But the engine without the tender isn’t that long on its own, and its boiler is quite slender. Meanwhile, the Big Boy has both greater weight and volume. It’s even longer without the tenders.

At 77 feet (23.47 m) long and a weight of 97,600 pounds (44,300 kg; 44.3 t), the cast steel locomotive bed plate made by General Steel Castings was the largest single-piece casting ever made for a locomotive.

Sep 19, 2021 · Yup, fully custom lighting package (headlight, taillight, class lights, firebox, and the red running lights on the back of the tender that always remain lit) though according to its owner the model even came with the class lights pre-drilled for lights.
