Feb 20, 2016 · Addendum to my previous post: I noticed that the status bar in Notepad++ is detecting these files as ISO-8859-1 (bottom right), but the "Encoding" menu command does not have anything selected. Is there any way to detect this encoding using python++?

May 8, 2000 · While I think that QuakeC, due to its from-birth specialization, is suited to the task that it's asked to do, something GPL'd ought to be better able to be ported or 'extended' (Don't puke: 'Python++') to suit advancements in the QF engine (and games based on it) than something that's been static for as long as QuakeC has.
