Sep 5, 2008 · I have one of BIGM's Padded Russian Slings and am very happy with it, it seems perfect for the rifle. I have a question regarding the rear sling attachment or "swivel" on my Yugo M72 the sling loop is about 1/4" too narrow for easy slipping of the belt or sling, also it is mounted in a vertical manner and lays fore and aft.

Mar 17, 2008 · i figure if the factory designed and produced them,they are good enough for me.the factory rpk slings are rare in the us.you can get soviet slings,but rpks with the pad are tough.i know because i was the guy selling them.could only get 10 at a time every 3 or 4 months.they never lasted more than a day on the ee boards.i have 4 super rare 3 strap left.most are 2 strap.have only seen 3 other 3 ...

Nov 13, 2008 · I believe the East German "RPK" sling that's for sale is simply an MPiKM sling that also can be used on the RPK. Additionally, some of the East German RPG slings can also be used on the RPK. AFAIK, there's really no specific "correct" sling for the RPK. You probably have the right sling if you're going to use it on your East German MPiKM or RPK ...

Oct 2, 2020 · Romanian and Russian RPK receivers in 7.62x39 are basically the same expect for the selector markings, only Yugo has provision for sling loop. The year of your Romanian RPK will determine weather you order a receiver with magwell dimples or a "Slabside".

Aug 14, 2018 · I was going through some Romy slings and found one that is about 7-8" longer, and 1/4+ wider, than the normal Romy nylon sling. I looked over the web and found nothing on a dedicated Romy RPK sling. 2 sets of slings below. Top - Bottom; a Soviet okra color (not extended), Romy leather, and Unknown Romy sling and standard Romy sling.

However, What you have right now, the russian RPK slign with shoulder pad, is the best option. But if your really fond of keeping the rifle true. I think a normal yugo AK sling is what you need. Apr 12, 2015 · Modern Russian RPK slings with 2 clips It has 2 clips on it, and the Vepr 1V has a standard type sling loop on the butt stock. So what is the right way to install the RPK sling? use both of the clips that came with it OR remove the clip on the loop end of the sling and run the sling through the sling loop on the butt stock? thanks! Apr 21, 2012 · That leaves: Sling. What sling is appropriate for a 1989 Romy Airborne RPK? I threw a Romanian green one on the weapon, but reading the tacked thread made me think a brown leather one would be more appropriate.
