I’m pretty sure Reze’s is supposed to be a bomb fuse and Denji’s are wires. I don’t know why spear has them though

Certain Hybrid Devils are sympathetic and likable, while others are among the most hated characters in the manga. The Spear Devil has had the smallest role in Chainsaw Man among any of the Hybrid Devils.

The Spear Hybrid has a spear he can pull out of his neck. The Katana and Longsword Hybrids have their respective weapons manifested in their arms. The Flamethrower Hybrid has a trigger at his molar.
