Roamer continues to produce their watches in Switzerland to this day. Dial is in very good condition showing a beautiful silver sunray finish. Hands are matching. The case overall is a nice example being lightly polished in the past. Watch is running correctly, previous service history is unknown. Established in in 1888.

Dec 4, 2011 · Case appears to be the correct period and I think the 471 was the 44 jewel version but really trim is the man you need. However what we really need to see is the actual movement inside and that will tell us whether it really is a 471 and 44 jewels.

Oct 11, 2024 · It's been worn, but the rear case is in very good condition. The most interesting is actually the case-back - it was stamped with the number 148437, and this was then changed - by the looks of it by the factory - to 147436, which matches the MST 436 found in the watch.

Aug 11, 2020 · This watch is identical to the Roamer Rotopower 44 jewel (no date) 436 movement 1964-6. It’s been rebranded as a Stingray otherwise no change in appearance . My point is often high jewel counts watches have an absurd amount of jewels for the date wheel.
