Mk IV 22/45 owners, opinions please? - Ruger Forum
Feb 1, 2025 · Looks like the brand new MK IV 22/45 Lite will be going back to Ruger already. Less than 300 rounds in with Federal Automatch and it has become a jam-o-matic due to a severely loose ejector. Second brand new MK IV in less than a month with issues, I believe I'm done with the Mk IV's and will stick with my Mk I's and MkII's.

May 29, 2021 · The metal mag body is the same for the MK III & the MK IV but the base plate is different between the III & IV. The base plate can be modified on the III to fit the IV. The plate is longer on the III and you can cut it off to fit the IV.

Dec 21, 2017 · I had a Mk II which I sold to another shooter who needed a .22 to compete. I wish I had not. I did not care for the Mk III with the plastic loaded chamber indicator, as all shooters know "Every firearm is loaded unless you check and see (preferably TWICE) that it is not". It just stuck me as a answer to a problem that did not exist.
