Cross the Highlands Bridge and stay in right lane to enter park. Once you enter the park follow directions below. Garden State Parkway North to Exit 105. Take Route 36 (Joline Ave.) to end (Ocean Ave.). Turn left onto Ocean Ave. Drive about 8 miles north. Follow signs for Sandy Hook.

From North Jersey and New York: - South on the New Jersey Turnpike - Exit 11 onto the Garden State Parkway (South) - Exit 117 (Keyport/Hazlet) - After toll, bear left and follow Route 36 East - 12 miles to park entrance (after crossing the Highlands Bridge)-Stay right to enter the park.

May 4, 2024 · Sandy Hook, N.J.: Beach parking is $20 per day or $100 per season for most vehicles. 2024 season passes are available now at Recreation.gov. For oversized vehicles (more than 20 feet), charge is $50 per day or $200 per season. Hours of collection are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
