3/25/22 - This is a very rare Steyr G29(o) assembly that was part of a small Luftwaffe contract. These rifles were part of a separate contract that was being manufactured at Steyr when the 1938 annexation of Austria occurred.

Nov 20, 2024 · Steyr records reportedly refer to the German contract rifles as the "Luftwaffe G.12/34" ... ... The G.29/40, on the other hand is for all purposes a K98k made by Steyr using leftover Polish Wz.29 receivers and is virtually identical to the German rifle.
