Nostalgia. There are better cars with better weight distribution with better engines and better gearboxes and better interiors, and there HAS BEEN for 2 decades, but a few movies and video games have made it an icon. I'd take an MK3 or an MK5 supra over an MK4. I don't get the appeal. Every bodyline of the car looks like one big bubble.

Aug 9, 2018 · I asked this question because there is a somewhat low mile mk4 supra that I found. Its not necessarily a good deal by any means, but in this day and age its getting harder to find clean low miles one (especially one that doesn't have any stories to go with it). With that said though I still feel like 50-55 is alot for a used mk4 supra IMO.

I can easily beat a 600-1000hp MK4 Supra on a track with 220hp, unless you’re talking about a track with absurdly long straights. There is a lot more to driving fast than horsepower. The Supra is probably 500lbs heavier than the F40 and was never designed to really go fast- certainly not with that kind of power.

Mar 17, 2023 · The main complaint about the mk4 Supra was that it was heavy and overpriced. Partnering with BMW helped them to solve both problems. Not to mention, the Camargo and Mustang are going to beat whatever Toyota makes every time in the Pony car segment. Hence why the GR86 doesn't try to compete directly with them.

Is it worth doing the swap (provided it's made with quality) or should I stay away from doing a swap and just wait around for one that is manual from factory?
