Apr 4, 2021 · Just curious what speeds you guys taxi at in your LSA? I tend to taxi between 10 and 15 knots if a long stretch of taxiway is ahead of me, or about 7-8 knots if obstructions are nearby or if I'm turning soon.

Apr 19, 2012 · Although S-12 has a configuration typical for an ultralight, it checks in at 430lbs+ dry. Far cry from the legal limit of 254 lbs. And of course it only comes in 2-seat version so it fails be an ultralight that way too.

Sep 24, 2009 · During my PP checkride I taxied onto the runway and saw the local skydive jump plane taxi out to take off in the other direction. I did a quick U-turn and cleared the runway before he started his roll.
