Bring a Friend to the Rec! Current members can sponsor up to three guests per visit: $10 for ages 16 and older. $5 for ages 15 and younger. Guests must show a photo ID and sign a waiver. Forgot Your Lock? Purchase a combination padlock at the Front Desk for $7.

Work out at the Campus Recreation Center in our state-of-the-art gym with our countless cardio machines, free weights, and machines for free. Check out all of our workout offerings from personal training to fitness assessments.

At the Campus Recreation Center, you can find anything you need to stay active and have fun! Inside, you’ll find weightlifting equipment, basketball and volleyball courts, racquetball rooms, an indoor track, an aerobics studio, two swimming pools, two indoor soccer fields, and two 54-foot rock climbing walls.

The Texas State Student Recreation Center has everything you'd expect from a student rec center, like basketball courts, a large weight room, cardio areas and racquetball courts, but they also have an amazing indoor pool, 54-foot-tall climbing wall and a boxing studio.

Campus Recreation is open for the summer and ready to welcome current students to the Student Rec Center, the Outdoor Center at Sewell Park, and University Camp. Students can show their TXST ID for services and purchase passes for additional activities.

Download the Campus Rec App today and get easy access to all of the following: You will be prompted to log in with your netID and a barcode will show up that you can use to scan in at the Rec. Here you can check our hours for the Student Rec Center, Natatorium, and Climbing Center.
