Oddball Customs in Oxbridge, Ontario, took the chassis of the 700-hp 2017 GT-R and the body of Schmidt’s 1974 VW, and did some crazy Frankenstein-style grafting to make the two meet.

It's not a VR38 swapped entire thing as much as it's a Thing body dropped onto what's left of the GT-R with tons of custom fabrication work as you can see. This is done by Stoney Smith of Oddball Customs, also relatively local, he's a bit northeast of Toronto.
