No, he never really existed, neither of them did, but they somehow had physical form away from the dream world. It wasn't a time period thing, by the way, it was a "dream vs. reality" thing.

Exactly what I wanted, plus it conforms to the looser one that I had in mind.

-Send Tidus or Wakka down Auron's path for strength boosts. Auron's path actually doesn't have as many Str boosts, he has a lot of base Str which makes him a hard hitter. Wakka's path has more (the most) Str boosts.

Likewise Yuna can go directly to Tidus' latter part of the grid by opening up the Lv2 Key node between Life and Pray, so that she can get early access to Quick Hit while her aeons get a boost in Strength and Agility. It's much more preferable for aeons to do good damage with their physicals or special attacks instead of their OD.

Tidus and Auron - Wakka's section, followed by the remaining physical path for each. Wakka's grid has more Str, HP, Accuracy, and Agi than Auron's section of the grid. That makes Wakka's section the way to go for any physical attacker once they finish their section. This includes Rikku if you want to use her as a physical character.

Dec 17, 2001 · "Break HP limit"--Celestial weapons strength are a factor of either high hp/max hp, high mp/max mp, or Auron's low hp/max hp. This means that the moment you are hit, your Rikku, Wakka, Tidus, or Kimahri becomes weaker unless healed. Auto-potion only heals 9999 hp, so your chars will not reach full hp without wasting turns healing.

Dec 17, 2001 · Tidus key techniques are: Venom Tackle (sometimes hard to get), Drain Tackle 2 and Anti-Venom 2. Although technically it is possible to get only Anti-Venom 2 (by using a feature called Tech Find won as a tournament prize to open up Tidus Anti-Venom 2 learning capability) and then Jecht Shot 2, the "normal" way is to get the Key Techniques in order.

Doing this can easily net you all of Tidus' Overdrives, including Blitz Ace, I personally farmed them this way: rotated lulu and yuna in so they can get the AP, then switched the melee fighters in, cheered 5 times and just attacked normally until Kimahri got his overdrive modes (which requires killing 120 enemies and attacking 120 times, which ...
